ALL of the mass shooting events since at least 1950, except ONE, has been in a ‘Gun-Free Zone’, schools, malls, theaters, etc. The lone exception is the 2011 Tucson shooting of Gabby Giffords and 18 others.

Remember, there was a mass shooter event at a mall near Portland, OR just before Christmas (2012) that was also a ‘Gun-Free Zone’. With a shooter in a mall full of Christmas shoppers (~10,000), it could have been a MAJOR massacre! What prevented that from happening is that there was a licensed concealed carry permit holder there who forgot he was carrying and carried his pistol into the mall. He heard the first shots, pulled his pistol and confronted the shooter. He didn’t even shoot, the threat was enough to convince the shooter to give up. The shooter ducked around the corner and committed suicide. Three deaths, one being the shooter.

NRA president Wayne LaPierre was exactly right when he said, “The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun, is a good guy with a gun.”  This quote starts at 14:07 in the video below.

BTW, before the resolution to the Portland mall shooting situation became clear the dominant liberal media was all over it. They thought they were going to have another Sandy Hook tragedy to bolster their gun control pitch. When it became clear that it was a vindication of the wisdom of allowing concealed carry, they dropped the story like a hot rock!

It’s time to STOP the would-be-tyrants’ lies about Gun Control and BAN GUN-FREE ZONES! Without the free-fire zones that ‘Gun-Free Zone’ signs create, the bad guys will have to worry about who is going to be shooting back. I don’t know about you, but I’d much rather have the bad guys worrying than the rest of us!
